Job Profile:
Prime responsibilities are as follows:-
Lead and manage the Instrument engineering team, including engineers, technicians, and support staff. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Develop and implement the department’s strategic plan aligned with the company’s overall objectives and vision.
Allocate resources effectively, including budgeting, staffing, and equipment procurement.
Oversee the design and development of Instrument system and infrastructure for new projects or upgrades to existing systems.
Manage projects from concept through to completion, including planning, execution, and final delivery.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and reliability of electrical systems.
Ensure all instrument work adheres to safety standards and best practices to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of various type of instrumentation including pressure, temperature, level and flow instruments.
Familiarity with control systems like DCS, SCADA and PLCs.
Ability to calibrate and validate instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Experience in planning and executing maintenance schedules to avoid unplanned downtimes.
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with instrumentation and control systems.
Understanding of safety standard and procedures related to instrumentation and process control.
