About the RoleJoin a small, high-conviction founding team building an AI-powered project management platform for the construction industry. As one of the first engineers, you will own the product technically from day one — partnering directly with the founders to build a category-defining platform that automates documentation, workflow management, decision tracking, and risk analysis for construction projects.This is a high-ownership, high-impact role where you will work across the full stack, from data models and backend systems to polished, responsive user interfaces, with your code shipping to real customers in days.Note: German language fluency is a hard requirement for this role.What You'll DoBuild customer-facing features end-to-end, from database design through beautiful, responsive frontends.Design robust, scalable systems capable of handling complex workflows and large, real-world datasets.Operate in a high-velocity environment where ideas move to production in days, not months.Work with complex construction-industry data and build sophisticated, automated workflows.Contribute directly to product direction and technical architecture alongside the founding team.What We're Looking ForRequired:Fluent German speaker (hard requirement).Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Next.js for full-stack development.Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Supabase, including vector data.Familiarity with LangChain, TanStack Query, and shadcn UI for building UIs and AI-driven data workflows.Stable work history — preference for roles lasting 12+ months (internships excluded).Ability to take end-to-end ownership of features and directly impact customer outcomes.Nice to Have:Experience building and shipping scalable applications in an early-stage startup environment.Background or domain interest in construction, real estate, or project management tooling.University degree in Computer Science or a related field (valued, not required).Collaborative mindset with comfort working closely with founders and shaping product decisions.Tech Stack: TypeScript · Next.js · Supabase (PostgreSQL + vectors) · LangChain · TanStack Query · shadcn UI · VercelCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $70,000 – $90,000 USD annually (or local equivalent).Early-stage equity participation.Direct influence over product and technical strategy as a founding-team engineer.Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.LocationThis is a hybrid role based in Munich, Germany.
